The Owl

After having great success with his Helmsley-based restaurant Bantam, Chef Sam Varley took over the restaurant at The Owl in Hawnby. Since then The Owl has become his singular focus. We created a ridiculously simple yet elegant brand identity inspired by local nature and village signage, including the original hand-painted hanging sign.
