Bottling the essence of Walthamstow

The duo behind Walthamstow-based Forest Wines wanted to capture the essence of their local community in a redesign of their online site. We chose Calhern by Frostype for the typeface, a direct influence from the modern condensed sans used across London street signage. The various widths of the superfamily enabled us to use it in different flavours beyond just the headings. We pared back the colour palette using soft and warm neutrals and just two accent colours of red and green. The rest of the design and layout was similarly stripped-back to give the bottles room to breathe on the page.
